Today we’re blog hopping about quilting! While I’m not a quilter myself, not for lack of trying, I do enjoy making cards inspired by quilts. This card was inspired by my friend Amy’s card from our catalogue launch party.

And of course I had to add some detail to the envelope and inside of the card!

While there’s a lot of die cutting and embossing in this card, the only difficult part is trimming the quilt layer. Here’s my little secret… take your base layer and line it up with the edge of your trimmer! Then you can simply cut off all the over hanging pieces.
