Today is Technique Tuesday already! Today we’re sharing out envelope techniques. More than just a sleeve to mail your cards, envelopes can be used in so many fun ways, and the Crafty Collaborations crew is sharing some of our favorites with you…

I’m sharing a way to make a quick and easy gift card holder. First you’ll take a standard envelope and score it in half, for us here in North America that’s 3 7/8″.

Then it’s just a matter of snipping the flap down the score line and gluing down one side. Fold on the score line, burnishing with a bone folder, and your base is ready!

Then you can decorate how you’d like! Here I used some embellishments and Sale-A-Bration products to make a bright birthday gift!

You can also add a panel for a note on the inside, either written or stamped.

One last look at some details…

Now let’s take a look at what everyone else is making!
