The last month of this years achievers blog hop is upon us! This month I needed some birthday cards for kids, so I took out the Stellar Birthday stamp set and got to coloring!

Each card features a couple of images I stamped and then colored with Stampin’ Blends markers. I got lazy and decided to use my Brother Scan n Cut to cut them out instead of fussy cutting by hand, which was a great decision that made these cards a snap to put together! The star die cuts are from the Give It A Whirl dies.

I also had to add some extra stamping to the inside of the cards…

But let’s talk about that background for a bit… Here’s a look at how I used Stampin’ Blends markers and alcohol to make it!

You can also flick alcohol and/or Wink of Stella ink onto your finished piece to add extra drops of glitz and shine!
