Love Themed Blog Hop

Valentine’s Day is in one month, so we’re doing a love and hearts themed blog hop today! My card was inspired by my brand new baby niece (the first grandbaby in our family). She was born a bit early so this hand is still a bit pudgier than hers, but I thought this stamp from “Treasures of Life” was just too precious. I colored it with Stampin’ Blends and then layered it with a variety of ribbons, twines, cardstock, and designer series paper.

I saw a skin tones chart like this at OnStage during a presentation of this same stamp set by Gail Murray. I decided to recreate it as a page for my Resource Binder. You can create your own binder, complete with a free printable version of this page to fill out on Facebook here: Resource Binder Group. There’s 55 different skin tone combinations on this sheet!

Here’s a look at the whole page and the card…
And here’s another look at the full card…

Now you can hop along and see what everyone else made!

  2. It’s a beautiful card Stefanie and I love your skin tone chart. That’s more colours than I had created previously. Great resource. Thanks for sharing both your card and the resource.
