Flowering Cactus Blog Hop

Today’s blog hop is all about the Flowering Cactus Product Medley. If you’ve never used a product medley before, they are so awesome! They’re basically an all in one suite that comes all together in one box at a lower cost than the a la carte suites in the catalogue. This one features designer series paper, stamps, dies, and even felt embellishments and twine that all feature these adorable cactuses and flowers.
For my card, I based it off a sketch! This sketch is one I posted on my Facebook group “Creating with the Crafty Medic” as our creative challenge today. If you’d like to use this sketch and share your creation, you can even win a prize!

I was fairly literal in my interpretation of this sketch, I did drop the circle and bunched my cactus shapes and embellishments there though. Here’s a look at my cards… First I made this one with Calypso Coral flowers and embellishments…

Then I repeated the design with different paper, a different cactus, sentiment, and of course the Highland Heather flowers and embellishments…

Here’s a look at both of the cards together! I can’t wait to see what you create with this inspiration!
Before you hit your own craft space though, take a look what the others in the hop created!

If you need any of the supplies to make these cards, or something inspired by them, you can get the product medley and other products I used by clicking on the images below to be taken directly to my online store!

  1. What a wonderful pair! I Liked how your showed the flags as a greeting option and then carried them through to the rest of the cards. They are so cute with the felt flowers.

  2. Super Cute projects! Love them both. I just may have to CASE them 🙂
