Color Challenge #1

Today we finished submissions and started voting for our first Sketch Challenge, so it’s time to start a color challenge! Make a project using the theme of the week, which is “Grayscale”, then post it to your own blog and submit the link below. You have until 8am Pacific on July 13th to do so. Don’t forget to vote on your favourites (and get your readers to do so too!) and then I’ll feature the winner here on July 20th.
I took this color scheme and used the Peony Garden designer series paper with it’s lovely modern patterns to create a simple card with lots of texture. By layering DSP, a vellum doily, ribbon, and a die cut label I was able to create this card in minutes…
Submit your creation and vote for your favourites here…

And if you’d like to make your own card based off mine, have a look at the shopping list below for what you’ll need. You can click on any of the products I used to be taken directly to my store.

Anytime you place an order in my online store and use the host code on the right, you will also get a free tutorial bundle! Just use the host code on the right and I’ll send you a code you can use at my online store to pick any tutorial up to $20 in value!

You can also join my Facebook group “Creating with The Crafty Medic” to be a part of weekly creative challenges complete with prizes!
