Get Well Soon!

I created this card when I was experimenting with get well cards last month. I thought it was perfect for Kylie’s International Blog Highlight, so I held on to it for a few weeks! Head on over to her blog to vote for your favourite cards, hopefully mine will be one of them!

I’ve been super into these rustic cards lately, I dug out all the sponges and techniques I haven’t used in a while to distress and age whatever I can. The Gingham color family designer series paper has just been too perfect for it. I love the way Rococo Rose pairs so well with Copper and neutral wood tones.

Never a naked card or envelope too right? Here’s the inside, which I spruced up by punching an extra long label to coordinate with the outside.

Once again, head on over to Kylie’s International Blog Highlight to vote for your favourite cards! 1. Great 'distressing' techniques. This rustic card will surely boost the recipients spirits. Thanks Stephanie for being part of my International Highlights this month! All the best with the voting.
