Stamping Around the World Blog Hop – January

I love blog hops can you tell? This one is with the lovely ladies of the Stamping Around the World group. We’re a group of demonstrators from around the world who are collaborating to bring you an exclusive tutorial bundle every month. There’s two ways you can get this bundle, place a minimum order with any one of us, or you can buy it on it’s own as well. Each of these wonderfully creative women also created a project to go along with their tutorial project to showcase their style and the products they chose to use this month.

For my project, I decided that I had to make a birthday card. I don’t always make a big deal of my own birthday, but I like sending out lots of cards. Last year I sent out almost 800 cards, most of them birthday cards. If you’d like to receive one this year, fill out the form here and I’ll send you one, no matter where in the world you are! If you’d like a holiday, anniversary, or any other kind of card, let me know, it doesn’t have to be birthdays.

My card today features two of my favourite products from the Occasions Catalogue, the Butterfly Gala bundle and the Rectangle Stitched Framelits. On top of everything else, I used the Butterfly Elements which you can get FREE when you place an order during Sale-A-Bration.

Another thing I like to do for all my cards, decorating the inside! This one I went even more over the top than I usually do, so I though I should share it with you. I used scraps from the front to add some layer and dimension to the inside.

Speaking of dimension, I love how many layers there are to this card! You can see how they all fit together in these photos.

I absolutely loved this whole suite, I actually used up my whole stash of butterfly elements before they were even available for people to earn! I based my tutorial project this month on the suite as well, and you can get yours by placing an order with me if you’re in Canada, or one of the other participating demonstrators in your country. Check out their blog posts as well to see some of the styles and products we’re featuring in the tutorial bundle…
