Wacky Watercooler Blog Hop: Spring Fever

Welcome to the February Wacky Watercooler blog hop! This month it’s all about spring, and the Watercooler ladies have done a fabulous job making us all feel like it’s warming up and becoming colourful out there.
If you haven’t seen a blog hop before, you can click along the “previous” and “next” buttons at the bottom of this post to see more projects, eventually you’ll come back here full circle. If you’ve followed along, you probably came from Deborah’s blog, and will continue on to Marsha’s after this. You can also head back to the main page at any time for a full list of participants.
My three projects start of with a CASE of Gail’s wonderful project. Triple time stamping isn’t a technique I usually use, so this was a challenge for me! I love the way it turned out, and Of course the chance to use my Blendabilities too!
Next up, I made this wreath using the Build a Blossom kit. The kit makes five of each of these flowers (well 15 of the pansies, but there’s technically three to a stem of them). I took one of each and attached it to this wreath. I then made a bunch more to give away to special people in my life! The photo didn’t turn out great, unfortunately the whole thing didn’t fit in my light box, but you get the idea.
Last but not least, I used a pack of note cards to make a set of cards to give away as a gift. Everyone can always use thank you cards, and by using the pre-coordinated In Colours and a free stamp set I got during Sale-A-Bration, this set came together in no time!
So now it’s time to hop along and check out everyone else’s great work! Enjoy!

  1. Great colouring on your triple-time stamping card, Stefanie! Great idea to use some of the flowers to make a wreath – that'll help make it feel like spring 🙂

  2. Your CAS of Gail's project is simply stunning. I love the colour choice and the Blooming With Kindness stamp set. I also like your Build a Bouquet wreath and the notecard set, both make me have spring thoughts! TFS.

  3. A sweet and simple set of projects that reflect Spring so beautifully! Can't wait to CASE the note cards especially. I love the wreath but I'm not sure I'm up to the flower construction. 😀
Hope you find Spring around the corner soon my dear friend. Hugs and love – J.

  4. Hi Stefanie, what a wonderful triple-stamped card! I love the colours and the placement of the flowers and pearl embellishments. While I can see the inspiration from Gail's beautiful card, yours definitely has its own elegance. The little set of note cards is so simple and pretty.

What a great idea, to use some of the flowers from the Build a Blossom kit to create such a stunning wreath.
It really catches the eye and is a real winner. Thanks so much for being part of the Blog Hop.

  5. Beautiful "blend" work on your triple time card. I love the colors.
I love the idea of using that kit for a wreath. Such a great gift idea. (that is after I make one for myself)
Your little notecards are so, so pretty. I absolutely love the simplicity of them. They are definitely a CASE project for me.

  6. These are all beautiful, Stefanie! I love the triple time card (your color choices rock!), and the wreath is amazing. The thank you cards are so sweet. Very, very pretty!

  7. Really like the careful simplicity of the thank you cards. A perfect example of less is more. Gorgeous work Stephanie.
