Wacky Watercooler Welcome to 2015!

Wacky Watercooler Welcome 2015 Blog Hop
This weeks blog hop is all about new things! If you’ve never participated in a blog hop before, it’s super easy, just follow along the “next” button at the bottom of this post to go along to Deborah’s blog. If you’ve come to my post from Marie’s, welcome! You can also always click home to go to the main blog page and see everyone who’s participating listed there.
My first card is CASEd from another demonstrator on Stampin’ Connection, our demonstrator exclusive website I often call “Facebook for demos”. I loved what she did with the “happy” sentiment, so I copied that and added my own “birthday” and embellishments. Don’t get what I did here? Keep scrolling to see…

Isn’t that a great way of using the new dies? I cut out seven layers of card stock and used liquid glue to stack them before gluing the whole thing onto my card. Simple, effective, and still mailable! You could do this with similar colors to get an ombre look too, maybe I’ll try that next!

My next card is featuring some stamps from the annual catalogue I love, Petite Pairs (one of my all time favourites) and Something for Baby. Some designer series paper, some dimensionals, and another card done and ready to mail!

Last but not least I CASEd Christine Giuda. I loved these tags she made up, and couldn’t resist turning them into a card.

I hope you enjoyed my projects, click along to visit Deborah, and check out all the fabulous work these ladies have put in!

  1. I always love your projects and this is no exception!! Love the Happy layers and will have to CASE that one for sure! so simple yet makes such an impact!! Thank you for sharing! I've been so honored to be a part of this blog hop and I'll miss you all!! <3

  2. Great cards, Stefanie! Isn't the stacked layers fun (though I got really 'glue-y' when I did it! LOL) Thanks for sharing 🙂

  3. Nice job, Stefanie! Love those "happy" layers! And your baby card is so pretty! Thanks for sharing!

  4. Great projects. I have been on the fence about the bundle with the word stamps and dies since I recently purchased a Silhouette and felt I could accomplish the same thing. Well, it is now back on the "to order" list.

  5. Thank you for being part of this Blog Hop. I love the simplicity of your clean and simple Happy Birthday card, especially since it packs quite a surprise when you lie it on its side. What a great effect all those layered colours have! I will definitely have to try this.

The Petite Pairs is one of my favourites as well and I trust it won't be retired for years to come. I love the colours and design of your card, especially with the safety pin from Something For Baby separating the two parts of the sentiment. Your card-from-a-tag CASE of Christine's framed tags is inspired. A lovely card!

  6. The rainbow happy is such a neat surprise – love it, and how you turned the flowered tags into such a lovely card. TFS

  7. Stefanie, I've seen layered die cuts before, but not with the different colors – what an awesome idea! I'm pretty sure I'll be needing to CASE your CASE, too 🙂
