June Wacky Watercooler Blog Hop: First Anniversary

This month is the first anniversary of the Wacky Watercooler Blog Hop! We’re all still featuring the new 2014-2015 Annual Catalogue. If you’re new to my blog you’ve probably come over from Kath’s blog, and welcome! For those that are new to blog hops, you can go forward and backward using the water cooler buttons at the bottom of this post to check out the lovely ladies around the world that have put up posts featuring some old and some new Stampin’ Up! products and projects.

I chose to feature my favourite Designer Series Paper, the Maritime collection. These cards come together super quick if you’re making a large batch, each sheet has enough paper for 6 cards! I made these for swaps at convention, so that was a major bonus.

Because I made these at midnight (!) the day before we left for convention, my friend Lisa was crafting with me too. She made some swap cards too, but using the Lullaby DSP. Here’s her fabulous card as a bonus project for the hop!
Any of the products mentioned in my blog today are available for purchase from any Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. Feel free to come back to see more of the cards from this set and get the pattern. In the mean time, click forward and back to hop along the crafting trail to check out other peoples’ projects!

  1. Good job, Stefanie. I'm so glad you are part of the blog hop. Happy Blog Hop anniversary to you!!!

  2. Terrific cards – love the knot you tied on your Maritime card! Thanks for sharing, and happy blog-a-versary!

  3. I sure like how you added the knot with the threading. Super lovely colour choices too.

  4. Your Maritime cards would make great Make 'N Takes – and have a lot of WOW factor. Hope you are having a wonderful time at Convention. I know you will come home with tons of ideas.

  5. Hi Stefanie, thanks so much for being part of the 1st Anniversary Blog Hop. You may not have been here in the beginning but you add a lot to the hop now that you're part of it. As usual you have such beautifully crafted cards. I love that you show the insides of your cards because they are (almost) as nice as their fronts. I'm convinced that you will have to provide a tutorial for us in knot-making. It appears I'm not the only one that would really love to make such an eye-catching knot. Thanks so much for sharing.

  6. Stefanie, love the maritime themed cards, as that is hard one for me. Lovely projects!

  7. Stefanie, I'm so impressed that you showed us your midnight cards (and Lisa's) – they're amazing. My midnight cards tend to be a bit pathetic ;/ Yours have so many great details – finished inside panels, rhinestone trios, texture on the banners, and I love, love, LOVE the knots tied in the baker's twine! Lisa's card is also wonderful, and how sweet of her to share with us.
