Top 10 Basics: Ink

Ink is another place where there’s a ton of options. Inks
are available in almost all the color families (Very Vanilla got left out,
which is kinda sad because it’s one of my favorites), and in a variety of
formats.
Markers, either individually, by color family, or as a
collection of all the color families (which comes in a special carry case as
well)!
Classic stamp pads…
Stampin’ Spots are tiny little stamp pads (about 1×1 inch) available as a special bundle of the 10
Getting Started Collection colors, or as a part of some kits. These are a great way to get your ink collection started for cheap!
There’s re-inkers for when one of the above is running low.
No need to buy a whole new stamp pad or marker!
There’s also some special inks that are only available in
certain colors and have special properties. For example you can use Stazon
(available in black and white) on window sheets, glass, or anything else where
you need a good permanent ink. In fact, I’m pretty sure that the ink is the
same as permanent markers.
There’s also Craft ink, which is a pigment ink that shows up
well on dark papers.
Or a glimmery but subtle ink called Illuminate…
And Versamark, a must for adhering embossing powders for
heat embossing (but that’s another post).
